RENT PAYMENT

                               
     
 

Rent is due on the 1st of the month. Rent is late if not received in full by midnight on the 5th of the month. A five (5) day notice to pay or quit will be mailed on the 6th of the month. If the rent is not received by the 11th of the month, eviction proceedings will be initiated if the Property has not been vacated. Acceptance of partial payment does not waive the notice to pay or quit or the right of eviction.

Rent may be paid by Cashier Check, Certified Check, Money Order, or Personal Check made payable to Keller Williams LKN Property Management Services and mailed to:

For rent that is received late, the tenant shall be charged (as allowed by North Carolina Law) a Late Payment Fee of $15 or 5% of one month's rent which ever is greater. The Late Fee is due along with the current month's rent.

If a personal check is returned by the bank for insufficient funds, the tenant shall be charged (as allowed by North Carolina Law) a Returned Check Fee of $20. The Return Check Fee is due along with the current month's rent. Also, all rent payments starting with the current month's rent must be paid by Cashier Check, Certified Check, or Money Order. Personal Checks will no longer be accepted.
